Sangria 71 is a family owned and operated restaurant offering Flavors of Spain in a modern rustic ambiance. Coastal Galician brothers, Jose and Rosendo founded Sangria 71 in 2013 and have opened locations in Williston Park, Island Park, and Commack. Through years of family recipes and tradition, Sangria 71 offers a menu to accentuate the palette of Spain in Long Island featuring tapas and paella as well as a variety of other meat and seafood.

A childhood dream brought to life by two brothers, Jose and Rosendo Fernandez, Sangria 71 specializes in the traditional, savory palette of their home roots in Galicia, Spain. Designed to be a Mediterranean escape, Sangria 71 unifies ambiance and comfort with flavorful food featuring paella, tapas and a variety or regional wines and cocktails. First opening in 2013, Sangria 71 established a welcoming presence with the local community and has become a mainstay in Williston Park. Soon thereafter locations in Commack and Island Park opened their doors allowing guests an intimate yet festive setting for gatherings and occasions. Today all three restaurants remain family owned and operated. Sangria 71 has garnered local attention resulting in several news publications from the likes of The New York Times, Newsday and the Open Table distinguishment of “Diner’s Choice 2022” as voted by our loyal guests.
